Preparation of Croque-Monsieur

    Lay out 4 slices of sourdough bread. Spread a layer of butter on one side of each slice. On the unbuttered side of 4 slices, layer brie cheese, apple slices, and sliced almonds. Drizzle honey over the fillings and top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
