Method
Cooking the Meats

Prepare the Chicken
Boil the chicken breast in salted water until cooked, about 20 minutes. Remove, shred, and set aside.

Cook the Ground Beef
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 10 minutes.

Fry the Chorizo
In the same skillet, add the chorizo and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Prepare the Pork Belly
In a deep pan, fry the pork belly until crispy and golden brown. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
Preparing the Sides

Cook the Red Beans
If using dried beans, soak them overnight and then cook until tender. If using canned, simply heat them in a saucepan.

Prepare the Rice
Cook the white rice according to package instructions.

Fry the Plantains
Slice the plantains and fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
Assembling the Platter

Plate the Bandeja Paisa
On a large platter, arrange the rice, beans, shredded chicken, ground beef, chorizo, and pork belly. Add fried plantains and sliced avocado on the side.

Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
