Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

  2. 2

    Fill the Dumplings

Take a gyoza wrapper and place about a teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over to form a half-moon shape, and pinch to seal. Repeat until all wrappers and filling are used.

  3. 3

    Cook the Dumplings

In a large pan, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Place the dumplings in the pan, flat side down. Fry for about 3-4 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.

  4. 4

    Steam the Dumplings

Carefully add about 1/4 cup of water to the pan and cover immediately to allow the dumplings to steam for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the lid, let any remaining water evaporate, and serve the dumplings hot with ginger soy sauce on the side.
