Marinade and Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sriracha sauce, honey, grated fresh ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, and lime juice. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
- 2
Marinate the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- 3
Preheat the Grill or Oven
If grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If baking, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 4
Cook the Salmon
Remove the salmon from the marinade, allowing the excess to drip off. For grilling, place the salmon skin-side down on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through. For baking, place the salmon on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Once cooked, transfer the salmon to a serving platter. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy your spicy marinated salmon with your favorite sides!
