Marinade

Method

Marinade Preparation

1

Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, gochujang, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, and black pepper until well combined.

2

Marinate Beef

Add the thinly sliced beef sirloin to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for maximum flavor.

Cooking

3

Preheat Grill or Skillet

Preheat a grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little oil to prevent sticking.

4

Cook Beef

Remove the beef from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Cook the beef in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan or grill, for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until nicely caramelized and cooked through.

Serving

5

Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, transfer the beef to a serving platter. Garnish with sesame seeds and additional sliced green onions. Serve hot with rice or lettuce leaves for wrapping.
