Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Start by placing the chicken breasts on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to slice each breast into thin, even slices, about 1/2 inch thick. This will help them cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

In a medium bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and lemon juice. Add the sliced chicken to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for more flavor).

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Chicken

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken slices in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

  2. 4

    Rest and Slice

Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a plate for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute. After resting, you can slice the chicken further, if desired, and it's ready to serve.

Serving

  1. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle the sliced chicken with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zing.
