Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt to taste. This will be the marinade for both the pork and chicken.
- 2
Marinate the Meats
Place the pork ribs and chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the meats, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
Cooking
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).
- 4
Grill the Pork Ribs
Remove the pork ribs from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off. Place them on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they have a nice char and are cooked through.
- 5
Grill the Chicken Thighs
Remove the chicken thighs from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off. Grill them for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the juices run clear.
- 6
Garnish the Meats
Once cooked, remove the meats from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds over the top of the pork ribs and chicken thighs for added flavor and presentation.
- 7
Serve
Serve the grilled pork and chicken hot, accompanied by your favorite sides such as rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad.
