Fish Fillet
Marinade
Method
Preparation of Fish
- 1
Clean the Fish
Rinse the fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Fish
Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly over both sides of the fish fillets.
Marinade Preparation
- 3
Combine Marinade Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, red chili flakes, soy sauce, and honey until well combined.
- 4
Add Parsley
Stir in the chopped fresh parsley into the marinade mixture.
Marinating the Fish
- 5
Marinate the Fish
Place the seasoned fish fillets in a shallow dish or a zip-lock bag. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Cooking the Fish
- 6
Preheat the Grill or Oven
If grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If using the oven, preheat to 400°F (200°C).
- 7
Cook the Fish
Remove the fish from the marinade (discard the marinade) and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. If baking, place the fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until done.
