Marinade Preparation
1. Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, honey, black pepper, salt, lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Whisk until well blended.
2. Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts into a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring that all pieces are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
Cooking
3. Preheat and Cook
Preheat your grill or oven to 375°F (190°C). Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
4. Grill or Bake
If grilling, place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). If baking, place the chicken in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until fully cooked.
5. Rest and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, garnished with additional chopped parsley if desired.
