Method

Prepare the Gyoza Filling

  1. 1

    Mix the Filling

In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, ground chicken, chopped green onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Assemble the Gyoza

  1. 2

    Fill the Wrappers

Take a gyoza wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold it in half to create a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat until all filling is used.

Cook the Gyoza

  1. 3

    Steam the Gyoza

In a steamer basket lined with parchment paper, place the gyoza in a single layer. Steam over boiling water for about 8-10 minutes or until the filling is cooked through and the wrappers are tender.

Make the Dipping Sauce

  1. 4

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili oil, and sugar until well combined. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish.

Serve

  1. 5

    Enjoy Your Gyoza

Serve the steamed gyoza hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
