Method

Meatballs

  1. 1

    Prepare Meatball Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Meatballs

Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Bake Meatballs

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and bake the meatballs for 20 minutes or until cooked through and browned.

Chicken

  1. 4

    Season Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.

  2. 5

    Cook Chicken

In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little olive oil and cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.

Noodles

  1. 6

    Cook Noodles

In a large pot, bring 2 liters of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti or egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauce

  1. 7

    Prepare Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, add the tomato sauce, minced garlic, dried basil, and salt. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Combine and Serve

In serving bowls, place a portion of noodles, top with sliced chicken, meatballs, and pour the sauce over the top. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
