Method

Marinating the Pork

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and ground black pepper.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

Slice the pork tenderloin into thin strips and add to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking the Pork

  1. 3

    Cook the Pork

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Once hot, add the marinated pork and cook until it is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.

Frying the Rice

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the diced carrots, green peas, bell pepper, and half of the chopped green onions. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  2. 5

    Add the Rice

Add the cooked white rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables. Make sure to break up any clumps of rice.

  3. 6

    Combine with Pork

Add the cooked pork back into the skillet with the rice and vegetables. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

  4. 7

    Season the Rice

Season with salt and sprinkle black sesame seeds to taste. Stir-fry everything together for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Serving

  1. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat, garnish with the remaining chopped green onions, and serve hot.
