Marinate the Pork
In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and sesame oil. Add the pork shoulder, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Prepare the Wontons
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt. Mix well. Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet the edges with water, fold over to form a triangle, and seal tightly. Repeat until all wrappers are filled.

Make the Broth
In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, chopped green onions, sliced mushrooms, and sliced ginger. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer.

Cook the Wontons
Add the prepared wontons to the simmering broth. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the wontons float to the surface and are cooked through.

Combine and Serve
Add the shredded pork to the broth with wontons and stir gently. Allow to cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
