American Wagyu Slaw Be Jo®

American Wagyu Roast Beef

Method

American Wagyu Slaw Be Jo®

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Season the American Wagyu beef with salt and black pepper. Grill or pan-sear the beef over medium-high heat until it reaches your desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare). Once cooked, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.

  2. 2

    Make the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the cabbage is well coated and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Slaw Be Jo®

On each hamburger bun, layer a slice of the grilled Wagyu beef followed by a generous scoop of the prepared slaw. Close the bun and secure with a toothpick if necessary.

American Wagyu Roast Beef

  1. 4

    Prepare the Roast Beef

Season the American Wagyu roast beef with salt and pepper. Roast in an oven preheated to 325°F (160°C) for about 1.5 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing thin.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard and horseradish sauce until well combined.

  3. 6

    Assemble the Roast Beef Sandwiches

Spread a layer of the mustard-horseradish sauce on each sub roll. Place slices of the roast beef on top, followed by a slice of provolone cheese. Close the rolls and serve.
