Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Noodles

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lo mein noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking, then set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Crab

If using frozen king crab legs, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight. If using fresh, rinse them under cold water. Crack the crab legs to make the meat easier to access.

  3. 3

    Slice the Chinese Sausage

Slice the Chinese sausage into thin rounds. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Mince the Garlic

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Chop the Scallions

Finely chop the scallions, separating the white parts from the green tops. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 6

    Stir-Fry the Ingredients

In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced Chinese sausage and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until slightly crispy.

  2. 7

    Add Garlic and Crab

Add the minced garlic and king crab meat to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the crab is heated through and the garlic is fragrant.

  3. 8

    Combine with Noodles

Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet along with the XO sauce and soy sauce. Toss everything together, ensuring the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.

  4. 9

    Finish with Scallions

Add the white parts of the scallions and stir-fry for an additional minute. Remove from heat.

Serving

  1. 10

    Plate the Dish

Serve the Garlic King Crab Lo Mein in bowls. Garnish with the green parts of the scallions and sprinkle with red chili flakes to taste.
