Preparation of Edamame

Steam the Edamame
In a large pot, bring about 2 inches of water to a boil. Place the edamame pods in a steaming basket or colander, and set it over the pot. Ensure that the water does not touch the edamame. Cover the pot and steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the pods are tender and bright green.

Mix the Sauce
In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, honey, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined.

Toss and Garnish
Once the edamame is cooked, remove it from the steamer and transfer to a serving bowl. Drizzle the spicy sauce over the edamame and toss gently to coat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish and serve immediately.
