Ramen Broth and Noodles
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Broth
In a large pot, combine chicken and pork bones with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 6 hours, skimming off any impurities that rise to the surface.
- 2
Season the Broth
After simmering, strain the broth to remove bones. Return the broth to the pot, then add soy sauce and salt. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 3
Cook the Noodles
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- 4
Assemble the Ramen
In bowls, place a portion of cooked ramen noodles and ladle the hot broth over the top. Serve immediately.
