Herb and Goat Cheese Mixture
Method
Naan Preparation
- 1
Prepare Herb and Goat Cheese Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine goat cheese, parsley, chives, thyme, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and set aside.
- 2
Prepare Naan Dough
In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of baking powder. In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup of warm water with 1/4 cup of plain yogurt. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and knead until a soft dough forms. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
- 3
Roll Out Naan
Divide the rested dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion out into a circle about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface.
- 4
Fill with Cheese Mixture
Place a generous spoonful of the herb and goat cheese mixture in the center of each rolled-out naan. Fold the edges over to seal the filling inside and gently roll again to flatten.
