Method

Turkey Layer

  1. 1

    Prepare Turkey

Layer the sliced turkey breast evenly on one slice of the toasted wheat bread.

Cranberry Layer

  1. 2

    Add Cranberry Sauce

Spread the cranberry sauce generously over the turkey layer.

Stuffing Layer

  1. 3

    Prepare Stuffing

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced celery and onion, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the chicken broth to the saucepan and bring to a simmer. Stir in the stuffing mix and remove from heat. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, or until the stuffing absorbs the liquid.

  3. 5

    Layer Stuffing

Once the stuffing is ready, layer it on top of the cranberry sauce.

Herb Cream Cheese Layer

  1. 6

    Make Herb Cream Cheese

In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with chopped parsley, chives, and garlic powder until well combined.

  2. 7

    Spread Cream Cheese

Spread the herb cream cheese mixture on another slice of toasted wheat bread.

Assemble Sandwich

  1. 8

    Final Assembly

Place the cream cheese-covered slice on top of the stuffing layer to complete the sandwich. Optionally, slice the sandwich in half for easier handling.

  2. 9

    Serve

Serve the Thanksgiving Sandy immediately, or wrap it up for later. Enjoy your seasonal creation!
