Prepare the Miso Mayo
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, miso paste, lemon juice, honey, and minced garlic. Mix until smooth and set aside.

Season the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Sear the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.

Serve
Remove the salmon from the skillet and serve with a generous dollop of homemade miso mayo on top.
