Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Place the saba fillets in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare the Grill

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

Grill the Saba

Remove the saba from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
