1. Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together the yuzu juice, white miso paste, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. This will be your marinade.

2. Marinate the Fish

Place the butterfish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the fish is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

3. Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, ensure the coals are evenly hot.

4. Grill the Fish

Remove the butterfish from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off. Grill the fish for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

5. Make the Yuzu-Miso Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter and mix in 1 tablespoon of the remaining marinade. Stir until combined.

6. Serve

Plate the grilled butterfish and drizzle with the yuzu-miso butter. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
