BBQ Beef Ingredients

Method

BBQ Beef Directions

1

Prepare the Rub

In a small bowl, mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create the spice rub.

2

Season the Brisket

Rub the spice mixture all over the beef brisket. Ensure it is well coated, then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

3

Preheat the Oven or Grill

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) or prepare your grill for indirect cooking at the same temperature.

4

Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and water. Mix well.

5

Cook the Brisket

Place the brisket in a roasting pan or on the grill. Pour the marinade over the brisket and cover with foil. Cook for about 3-4 hours, or until the meat is tender.

6

Glaze the Brisket

Remove the foil in the last hour of cooking and brush additional BBQ sauce over the brisket for a caramelized finish.

7

Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the brisket from the oven or grill and let it rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
