Soak the Potato Slices
Place the potato slices in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch and makes the chips crispier.
- 3
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 4
Season the Chips
Drain the potato slices and pat them dry with a clean towel. In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- 5
Bake the Chips
Arrange the seasoned potato slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
- 6
Cool and Serve
Once baked, remove the chips from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve with your favorite dip or enjoy as is!
