Preparation

1

Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the bell peppers, mushrooms, and onion into thin strips.

2

Season the Sirloin

Season the grilled sirloin with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.

Cooking

3

Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of oil and sauté the sliced bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions until they are tender and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

4

Combine Sirloin and Vegetables

Add the seasoned grilled sirloin to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Assembly

5

Prepare the Baguette

Slice the garlic baguette lengthwise and lightly toast it if desired.

6

Assemble the Cheese Steak

Pile the sirloin and vegetable mixture high on the toasted baguette. Top with mixed cheese and place under a broiler for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7

Serve

Cut the cheese steak into portions and serve with a side of au jus for dipping.
