Muddle the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the blackberries, cane sugar, and fresh mint leaves together until the blackberries are broken down and the mint is fragrant.

Add the Spirits
Add the Woodford Rye Whisky, Amaro, and fresh lime juice to the shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with ginger beer and gently stir to combine.

Garnish
Garnish with additional blackberries and a sprig of mint.
