Prepare the Ingredients
Finely dice the onion and measure out the green chiles. Shred the white cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses if not pre-shredded.

Melt the Cream Cheese
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the cream cheese and milk. Stir continuously until the cream cheese is completely melted and smooth.

Add Cheeses
Stir in the shredded white cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses into the melted cream cheese mixture. Continue stirring until all the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy.

Incorporate Vegetables
Add the diced green chiles and finely diced onions to the cheese mixture. Mix well to combine.

Sprinkle in the garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir thoroughly to ensure the seasonings are evenly distributed.

Continue to heat the queso dip on low for 5-10 minutes until hot, stirring occasionally. Serve warm with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
