Brew the Coffee
Brew 1 cup of strong espresso coffee and let it cool to room temperature.

Mix Coffee and Liqueur
In a shallow dish, combine the cooled espresso coffee and coffee liqueur. Set aside.
Making the Filling

Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and granulated sugar until pale and creamy.

Add Mascarpone
Add the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract to the egg mixture. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Fold in Cream
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
Assembling the Tiramisu

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer the Base
Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish.

Add Filling
Spread half of the mascarpone filling over the layer of ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone filling.

Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle dark chocolate shavings. Slice and enjoy!
