Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Vegetable Sautéing

  1. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 3

    Add Vegetables

Add the diced bell peppers, sliced zucchini, julienned carrots, broccoli florets, and halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

Pour the vegetable broth into the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. 5

    Combine with Pasta

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined. Remove from heat.

  3. 6

    Add Finishing Touches

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil until melted and incorporated. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
