Method

Prepare the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub both sides of the ribeye steaks with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper evenly over the steaks. Let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (around 450°F/232°C). Make sure the grill grates are clean and well-oiled to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a nice crust forms. Flip the steaks and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness. Adjust the time based on your desired level of doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steaks

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat.

Prepare the Sides

  1. 5

    Cook the Potatoes

Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let them cool slightly before peeling and cutting into quarters.

  2. 6

    Sauté the Asparagus

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the asparagus and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Toss the boiled potatoes with fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper. Serve the grilled steaks alongside the sautéed asparagus and seasoned potatoes.
