Method

Preparing the Tea

  1. 1

    Steep the Green Tea

In a heatproof container, pour 1 cup of hot water over 2 teaspoons of green tea leaves. Allow it to steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you want the tea to be.

  2. 2

    Strain the Tea

Once steeped, strain the tea leaves from the liquid using a fine mesh strainer or a tea infuser. Set the brewed green tea aside to cool to room temperature.

Mixing Ingredients

  1. 3

    Combine Sweeteners

In a separate bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 0.5 teaspoons of vanilla extract until well combined.

  2. 4

    Mix with Tea

Once the tea has cooled, slowly pour it into the bowl containing the sweetener mixture. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Serving the Thai Iced Green Tea

  1. 5

    Prepare the Glass

Fill a glass with 1 cup of ice cubes. If desired, add 0.5 cups of milk or coconut milk for creaminess.

  2. 6

    Pour and Serve

Pour the sweetened green tea mixture over the ice in the glass. Stir gently and serve immediately with a straw or spoon.
