Base Ingredients

Method

Preparation of Base

1

Mix Base Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the coconut milk, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk together until all ingredients are well combined and the sugar has dissolved.

Adding Flavor

2

Choose Your Flavor

Divide the base mixture into four equal parts if you're making all flavors, or keep it as one if you’re making a single flavor.

3

For Coconut Flavor

Add 1 cup of coconut flakes to one portion of the base mixture and stir until well incorporated.

4

For Taro Flavor

Mix in 1 cup of taro powder into another portion of the base mixture, ensuring there are no lumps.

5

For Mango Flavor

In the third portion, add 1 cup of mango puree and mix until smooth.

6

For Thai Tea Flavor

Steep 2 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves in a small amount of hot water (about 1/2 cup) for 5-10 minutes, then strain and add the tea to the last portion of the base mixture. Stir well.

Churning and Freezing

7

Churn Ice Cream

Pour each flavored mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 20-30 minutes.

8

Freeze Ice Cream

Transfer the churned ice cream to airtight containers and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
