Method

Prepare Filling

  1. 1

    Mix Filling Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, green onions, shredded cabbage, grated carrot, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Assemble Potstickers

  1. 2

    Fill Dumpling Wrappers

Take one dumpling wrapper and place a small spoonful (about 1 tablespoon) of the filling mixture in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold it in half to form a half-moon shape, and seal the edges tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Fry Potstickers

  1. 3

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 4

    Fry Potstickers

Carefully place the filled potstickers in the skillet, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown and crispy. Flip them over and add a splash of water (about 1/4 cup) to the skillet. Cover immediately to steam for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the water has evaporated and the potstickers are fully cooked.

Serve

  1. 5

    Plate and Serve

Remove the potstickers from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Serve hot with Thai sweet chili sauce and plum sauce for dipping.
