Peach Bourbon Tea

Method

Peach Bourbon Tea

  1. 1

    Steep the Tea

Boil 1 cup of water and pour it over 2 black tea bags in a heatproof container. Let steep for about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Peach Mixture

While the tea is steeping, slice the fresh peaches and add them to a pitcher. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and muddle the peaches gently to release their juices.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Remove the tea bags from the steeped tea and pour the hot tea into the pitcher with the peach mixture. Stir well to combine.

  4. 4

    Add Bourbon and Serve

Add 2 ounces of Maker's Mark JOEY Reserve ‘Peach Brûlée’ Bourbon to the pitcher. Stir to mix and let cool slightly. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

JOEY Reserve Old Fashioned

  1. 5

    Prepare the Glass

In an Old Fashioned glass, place 1 sugar cube and add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. Muddle together until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. 6

    Add Bourbon

Pour 2 ounces of Maker's Mark JOEY Reserve ‘Peach Brûlée’ Bourbon over the muddled sugar and bitters mixture.

  3. 7

    Add Ice

Add ice cubes to the glass until it is filled.

  4. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink and place it in the glass. Add a cherry for garnish. Stir gently and serve.
