Chicken Marinade

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps to remove any residual bacteria.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

  3. 3

    Coat the Chicken

Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to a zip-lock bag. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

Baking

  1. 4

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while the chicken is marinating.

  2. 5

    Arrange the Chicken

Once marinated, place the chicken breasts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are evenly spaced.

  3. 6

    Bake the Chicken

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through.

  4. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.
