Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tuna

Season the yellowfin tuna steaks with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat and add a drizzle of oil. Once the oil is hot, sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare doneness. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mango and Avocado

While the tuna is resting, peel and dice the mango and avocado. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Fry the Wontons

In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and fry the wonton wrappers until crispy and golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together chopped cilantro, grated ginger, lime juice, and olive oil to create the cilantro ginger dressing.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

Slice the seared tuna into thin strips. On a plate, arrange the sliced tuna, mango, and avocado. Top with chopped peanuts and crispy wontons. Drizzle with cilantro ginger dressing before serving.
