Thanksgiving Meal Kit Directions

1

Preparing the Turkey

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Remove the turkey giblets and pat the turkey dry with paper towels. Rub the turkey with softened butter, ensuring to cover the entire surface. Season generously with salt and black pepper both inside and out. Stuff the turkey with chopped onion, garlic, and herbs, and place it in a roasting pan.

2

Roasting the Turkey

Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 3 to 3.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes with chicken broth. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

3

Making the Stuffing

In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed onion, carrots, celery, cranberries, pecans, and herbs. In another bowl, beat eggs and mix with melted butter and chicken broth. Pour over the bread mixture and stir to combine. Stuff the turkey with mixture or bake separately in a greased casserole dish at 350°F (175°C) for 30-40 minutes.

4

Preparing the Green Beans

Trim the ends of the green beans and toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until tender.

5

Making the Pumpkin Pie

In a bowl, mix the pumpkin pie mix and pour into pie crusts. Bake according to pie crust instructions or until set, about 45-50 minutes at 350°F (175°C).

6

Serving

Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving. Serve with stuffing, green beans, and slices of pumpkin pie.
