Crispy Mashed Potatoes

Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare and Cook Steak

Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Rub the top sirloin steak with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Grill or pan-sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Crab Cake Preparation

  1. 2

    Make the Crab Cakes

In a bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, egg, breadcrumbs, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped parsley. Form the mixture into patties. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and cook the crab cakes for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Crispy Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare Mashed Potatoes

Boil the peeled and cubed potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash the potatoes with butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Spread the mashed potatoes in a baking dish, top with breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese, and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until crispy.

Asparagus Preparation

  1. 4

    Roast the Asparagus

Toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Roast in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes until tender.
