Preparation
1. Marinate the Ahi Tuna
Cut the ahi tuna into small cubes and marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, lime juice, and a pinch of salt for about 15 minutes.
2. Prepare the Avocado
Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out. Cut the avocado into thin slices.
3. Make the Spicy Emulsion
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sriracha, lime juice, and soy sauce until smooth.
Assembly
4. Assemble the Roll
On a sushi mat, lay down a sheet of nori. Layer the marinated tuna, avocado slices, and a few pieces of pickled ginger. Roll tightly using the mat.
5. Add Tempura Flakes
Once rolled, sprinkle tempura flakes on the outside of the roll, pressing gently to adhere.
6. Slice and Serve
Slice the roll into 6-8 pieces and drizzle with the spicy emulsion before serving.
