Making the Sauce

Prepare the Sauce
In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add San Marzano tomatoes, Calabrian chili paste, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Assembling the Pizza

Prepare the Pizza
Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a pizza stone or baking sheet.

Add Sauce and Toppings
Spread the Calabrian chili-infused sauce evenly over the dough. Layer with sliced spianata salami, piquillo peppers, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Finish with a sprinkle of grated Pecorino Romano cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
