Fruits and Topping
Method
Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Fruit
In a large bowl, combine the blueberries, strawberries, and peaches. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and toss gently to coat. Set aside.
Make the Batter
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, remaining 1/2 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, and stir until well combined.
Combine and Bake
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spoon the fruit mixture evenly over the batter. Do not stir. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the batter comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
Allow the cobbler to cool for about 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
