Burger Patties

Toppings

Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until just combined, then form into two equal patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 3

    Fry the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy, about 4-6 minutes. Remove from the pan and let them drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 4

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 5

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a leaf of lettuce, followed by a slice of tomato. Add the cooked burger patty, then top with brisket, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and drizzle BBQ sauce over the top. Finally, place the top half of the bun.
