Dip Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Spinach

In a large pot, bring a small amount of water to a boil. Add the fresh spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Drain and chop finely, then set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Artichokes

If using canned artichoke hearts, drain and rinse them. If using frozen, thaw and drain. Chop the artichokes into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Mix the Base

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, gruyère cheese, and parmesan cheese. Mix well until smooth.

  4. 4

    Add Spinach and Artichokes

Fold the chopped spinach and artichokes into the cheese mixture. Add minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.

Baking

  1. 5

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the dip mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  2. 6

    Bake the Dip

Bake the dip in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve warm with tortilla chips and fresh vegetable crudité for dipping.
