Sauces & Dressings

Method

Preparation of Salad Base

  1. 1

Prepare the Napa Cabbage and Arugula

Thinly slice the napa cabbage and place it in a large mixing bowl. Add the arugula and toss gently to combine.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Cut the avocado into thin slices. Thinly slice the radishes and cucumber.

  3. 3

    Combine the Salad Base

Add the sliced avocado, radishes, cucumbers, and seaweed salad to the bowl with napa cabbage and arugula. Toss gently to combine all ingredients.

Cooking Ahi Tuna

  1. 4

    Prepare the Ahi Tuna

Pat the Ahi tuna steaks dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds, pressing them gently into the fish.

  2. 5

    Sear the Ahi Tuna

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the tuna steaks and sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare, or cook to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Plate the Salad

Divide the salad mixture onto two serving plates.

  2. 7

    Add the Ahi Tuna

Slice the seared Ahi tuna steaks into thin strips and arrange on top of the salad.

  3. 8

    Drizzle with Sauces

Drizzle sriracha aioli and sesame vinaigrette over the salad and tuna. Serve immediately.
