Potatoes

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.

  2. 2

    Soak the Fries

Place the cut fries in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 4

    Dry the Fries

After soaking, drain the fries and dry them thoroughly using a clean kitchen towel.

  3. 5

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, combine the dried fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until evenly coated.

  4. 6

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.

Finishing Touches

  1. 7

    Add Truffle Oil

Once the fries are baked, remove them from the oven and immediately drizzle with truffle oil. Toss to coat the fries evenly.

  2. 8

    Sprinkle with Parmesan

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top, followed by the chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
