Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Jalapeño
Slice the jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds if you prefer less heat. You can also slice it into rings for easier infusion.
- 2
Infuse the Tequila
In a shaker, combine the sliced jalapeño with the Auza Blue Tequila. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes to infuse the flavors. The longer it sits, the spicier the drink will be.
Mixing the Margarita
- 3
Combine Ingredients
After the tequila has infused, add the fresh lime juice and agave syrup into the shaker with the jalapeño-infused tequila.
- 4
Shake it Up
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients thoroughly.
Serving
- 5
Prepare the Glass
Rub the rim of a rocks glass with a lime wedge and dip it into kosher salt to coat the rim.
