Method

Preparation of Pulled Pork

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Ensure even coverage.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork

Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Add 1 cup of BBQ sauce on top. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.

  3. 3

    Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix the shredded pork with the remaining BBQ sauce in the cooker.

Assembling the Flatbread

  1. 4

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 5

    Prepare Flatbreads

Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet.

  3. 6

    Add Pulled Pork

Spread a generous amount of the pulled pork mixture on each flatbread.

  4. 7

    Add Cheese and Onions

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the pulled pork. Thinly slice the red onion and distribute it over the flatbreads.

  5. 8

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Finishing Touches

  1. 9

    Garnish

After removing from the oven, slice the scallions and sprinkle them over the flatbreads.

  2. 10

    Serve with Dressing

Drizzle herb ranch dressing over the top of the flatbreads before serving.
