Method

Ribs Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Rub this spice mixture evenly on both sides of the baby back ribs.

  2. 2

    Wrap and Refrigerate

Wrap the seasoned ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.

  3. 3

    Slow Cook the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 225°F (107°C). Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and cook for 10 hours, until tender.

BBQ Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Stir well and simmer for 15 minutes.

  2. 5

    Cool the Sauce

Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool. It will thicken as it cools.

Coleslaw Preparation

  1. 6

    Mix the Vegetables

In a large bowl, combine the green cabbage and grated carrots.

  2. 7

    Prepare the Dressing

In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  3. 8

    Combine and Chill

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, mixing well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Fries Preparation

  1. 9

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into fries. Soak in water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 10

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 11

    Season the Fries

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while still hot.
