Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. If using cooked chicken, shred it into bite-sized pieces. If using ground beef, ensure it is fully cooked and crumbly.

3. Layering the Nachos
Spread half of the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking tray.
4. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the tortilla chips.
5. Add half of the shredded chicken or cooked ground beef over the cheese.
6. Sprinkle half of the pickled jalapeños on top.
7. Repeat the layering process with the remaining tortilla chips, cheese, chicken or beef, and jalapeños.
Baking
8. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
9. Remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes.
10. Top with dollops of sour cream, guacamole, chopped cilantro, and sliced green onions before serving.
