Prepare the Batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine the fresh corn kernels, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix well until combined.

Add Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped green onions.

Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan or skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Fritters
Using a ladle or spoon, drop dollops of batter (about 2-3 tablespoons each) into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Make the Honey Butter
In a medium bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter with a hand mixer until creamy. Add honey and a pinch of salt, then mix until fully combined and fluffy.
